When you create an account, we collect your email address, company name, and full name. When you subscribe, payment information is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers.
When you use the Service, we automatically collect usage data including: pages viewed, searches performed, properties accessed, filters applied, export activity, IP addresses, browser type, device information, and timestamps. This data is used to operate and improve the Service, enforce usage limits, and detect unauthorized access.
We use collected information to: provide and maintain the Service; process payments; enforce our Terms of Service and usage limits; monitor for unauthorized access or data misuse; send you product updates and opportunity alerts (if subscribed to a plan that includes alerts); respond to your inquiries; and improve the Service.
All CSV exports from the Service are logged and watermarked. Export logs include the identity of the exporting user, timestamp, number of records, specific property IDs, and a unique watermark embedded in the exported file. This tracking exists to protect the integrity of our proprietary dataset and to identify the source of unauthorized redistribution.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: Stripe (payment processing); Supabase (database hosting); Vercel (application hosting); and as required by law or to protect our rights under the Terms of Service.
Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for twelve (12) months thereafter. Usage logs and export logs are retained for twenty-four (24) months for security and enforcement purposes. Export watermarks and tracking data are retained indefinitely for intellectual property enforcement purposes. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting support@getstructera.com, subject to our retention requirements for security and legal compliance.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure authentication, role-based access controls, and rate limiting. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; and opt out of non-essential communications. We do not sell personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law.
Right to Opt-Out: Because we do not sell personal information, this right does not apply. However, we support your right to understand how your data is used.
Categories of Personal Information Collected: (a) Identifiers such as email address and name; (b) commercial information such as subscription data and payment history; (c) internet or electronic network activity information such as usage data, IP addresses, and browser information.

Property data displayed in the Service is sourced from publicly available county assessor and tax records. This data is public by law and is not personal consumer information. Structera does not collect personal data about property owners beyond what appears in these government records.

In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery via the email address associated with their account. We will also notify applicable regulatory authorities as required by law. The notification will describe the nature of the breach, the types of information involved, and the steps we are taking in response.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
